Dear IASH Members,
The economic and political situation in Venezuela is very unstable right now. This has negatively affected the ability of IASH to obtain financial support for the planned joint IASH/LASH meeting. In addition, participation of North American speakers is complicated by the current political conditions. Therefore the planned joint IASH/LASH meeting will not be held this year and will be organized for a time in the near future. The LASH meeting in Venezuela will still be held, but IASH will participate only through jointly sponsored symposia with LASH. We will notify you by email, and on our website, as soon as decisions are made about the venue and dates for the future joint IASH/LASH meeting. Please plan to submit abstracts and attend the meeting at that time.
Thank you for your understanding.
